The Town's Leaf Program distributes leaf bags to residents each Fall. When the bags are full, they are placed on the curb with other yard waste and collected on a regularly scheduled yard waste pick-up day. Leaf bags are used to collect leaves that fall off of Town trees onto yards and roadways adjacent to private property.DPW - Leaf Program

During the last week of October through the first week of November, leaf bags are packaged and distributed by DPW employees to each Town of Babylon resident and property owner. Once full, residents are asked to place the leaf bags curbside for collection during their regularly scheduled yard waste collection.DPW - Leaf Program

Additional leaf bags are available to Town residents (while they last) at the Department of Public Works leaf program trailer located at 1023 North Indiana Avenue in Lindenhurst.
