The Town of Babylon will proudly host its annual Veteran Awareness Week Ceremony on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Town Board Room at Babylon Town Hall, 200 E. Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst. The event is presented by Veteran Advisory Board Chairman and Councilman DuWayne Gregory, in partnership with NYS Assemblyman Kwan B. O’Pharrow and the Veterans Advisory Board.
This meaningful evening will pay tribute to the courage, service, and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. As part of the program, winners of the annual Veteran Awareness Week Student Essay Contest will be announced, with students invited to share their winning essays in honor of those who have served.
