Councilman Anthony Manetta, in partnership with the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America Constantino Brumidi Lodge, is once again leading the charge in the fight against food insecurity with the 8th Annual Pasta and Sauce Drive. From September 2nd through October 14th, residents are encouraged to donate pasta and sauce, which will go directly to the Town of Babylon Food Pantry to support local families in need.
Food insecurity affects millions across the country, with statistics showing that more than 16 million children lack access to nutritious meals and one in five children goes to bed hungry each night. By contributing to this initiative, residents can make a tangible difference in helping neighbors put food on the table and ensure families have access to the most basic of needs.
Donations will be accepted at multiple convenient drop-off locations, including the Sons of Italy Constantino Brumidi Lodge, Babylon Town Hall, Lindenhurst Memorial Library, and West Babylon Public Library. Together, we can continue building a stronger, more compassionate community. For more information, please contact Councilman Anthony Manetta at 631-957-4482
