AFA Health Screening Day 2-12-26 Flyer

Babylon Town Clerk Gerry Compitello is encouraging residents—especially older adults and caregivers—to attend a Free Health Screening Day hosted by the AFA Barbara Rabinowitz Education & Resource Center, conveniently located in North Amityville.

The event will take place on Thursday, February 12, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at 149 Schleigel Boulevard, Amityville, and will offer a variety of no-cost health screenings and educational resources designed to support overall wellness and early detection.

Available screenings and resources include:

  • Memory screenings to help identify early signs of cognitive changes

  • Blood pressure screenings to support cardiovascular health

  • Balance screenings to assess fall risk and mobility

  • Information on additional health screenings and services for older adults

All screenings are free, provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and no appointments are required.
