Contractor Opportunities

The Town of Babylon’s Green Homes program seeks to work with the best auditors and contractors that Long Island has to offer.

In order to participate in the Green Homes program, you must have at least one of the following licenses:

Class 8 License - Energy Auditor

All persons, corporations, businesses or any other entity engaged as an energy auditor within the Town of Babylon, on any residential property.

Class 8 License Application (Energy Auditor) - RENEWAL 2026

Class 9 License - Building Performance Contractor

All persons, corporations, businesses or any other entity engaged as a building performance contractor who can perform building performance modifications, improvements and/or construction within the Town of Babylon on any residential property.

Class 9 License Application (Building Performance Contractor) - RENEWAL 2026

Class 10 License - Heating  Systems Contractor

All persons, corporations, businesses or any other entity engaged as a building performance heating systems contractor who can perform building performance heating systems modifications, improvements and/or installations within the Town of Babylon on any residential property

Class 10 License Application (Energy Auditor) - RENEWAL 2026
